Brazil, one of the countries who severely suffers from the impact of climate change, recorded a series record-breaking wildfires erupted in several areas across Brazil.
The recent waves of fires are threatening residents and some of the biodiversity of the Amazons.
More than 50,000 wildfires are still active across Brazil like the Amazon, Cerrado and the Pantanal.
The residents in nearby towns are terribly suffering from the smoke, The Associated Press reported.
Crowded cities like Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro are at risk of fires.
About 60% of all the fires burning throughout Latin America are currently happening in Brazil, officials said.
The Amazon is currently witnessing the worst drought in 40 years, according to Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva after his visit an Amazon riverside community near the city of Tefe.
