According to the Brazilian newspaper Globo Esporte, the Brazilian Football Confederation has renewed its contact with Ancelotti regarding a potential replacement for Dorival Júnior as head coach of the Seleção.
The report also indicated that the experienced Italian coach requested that any progress in negotiations be postponed until after the Club World Cup in June.
