Brazil has reported more than 300,000 COVID-19 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic in the country, Health authorities announced on Wednesday.
The country became the second country in the whole world to report such a number of deaths after the US.
Moreover, it is still facing an unstoppable spread of the virus cases. It reported 2,009 COVID-19 deaths yesterday, on the other hand, it reported 3,251 deaths on Tuesday.
However, many social media reports suspected the reality of the announced figures, therefore, new Health Minister Marcelo Queiroga revealed that he will investigate the reality of announced numbers.
In the same context, health officials in Brazil expressed their concerns over another increase in COVID-19 cases in April.
