Bosy Trends Google after Arrest Rumors

Egyptian singer-actress, Bosy became on the most searched on Google top-trending searches in Egypt after news outlets circulated claims of her arrest for her "cheque bounce" case.

The news claimed that the "Ah Ya Dunya" singer was arrested Wednesday dawn from her home in Cairo's Fifth Settlement in implementation to her 9-year jail term.

The singer’s manager and her lawyer had denied the news.

The case against Bosy was filed by her ex-husband Walid Futain.

According to Investopedia, A bounced check is slang for a check that cannot be processed because the account holder has nonsufficient funds (NSF).

Banks return, or bounce, these checks, also known as rubber checks, rather than honoring them, and banks charge the check writers NSF fees.

Passing bad checks can be illegal, and the crime can range from a misdemeanor to a felony, depending on the amount and whether the activity involved crossing state lines.

Many times, bad checks are written inadvertently by people who simply are unaware that their bank balances are too low.

When there are insufficient funds in an account, and a bank decides to bounce a check, it charges the account holder an NSF fee. If the bank accepts the check, but it makes the account negative, the bank charges an overdraft (OD) fee. If the account stays negative, the bank may charge an extended overdraft fee.

Noteworthy, Bosy, born Yasmin Mohamed Shaban, is an Egyptian popular singer.

She was born in 1981 in Zagazig, the capital of the Sharqia governorate.

Her stardom kicked off after singing song entitled "Ah Ya Dunya" performed in 2012 film “El Almany”.

The song is by the lyrics of Malak Adel and composed by Mohamed Abd El Moneem.

She co-starred in several films as both a singer and an actress such as the 2013 film “Esh El Bolbol Poster” (Nightingale's Nest), and “Tatah”.

She also starred in TV series “El Hesab Yegmaa”.

The series co-starring Yousra, Karim Fahmy, Mahmoud Abdelmoghni, Eman El Assy, Boussy, Nada Moussa, and others.
