European Union High Commissioner Josep Borrell said that Kosovo and Serbia are on the brink of a new conflict, calling on the two sides to work to find a solution to the crisis between them.
Borrell's statements to reporters came on 'Twitter' before the meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council, which focused on Ukraine and the Western Balkan countries.
"We are unhappily on the edge of another crisis and we have to get out of this crisis mode and look for a structural approach," Borrell tweeted, referring to the new Franco-German proposal to resolve the conflict between Serbia and Kosovo.
Moreover, Borrell also called on both sides once again to fulfill their obligations and implement previous agreements.
