The Egyptian General Book Organization, headed by Dr. Haytham El-Haj, recently published a book entitled "Cold War Conflicts In Africa".

The book was written by Dr. Ali Metwally Ahmed and presented by Mr. Fleifel, who chose Guinea Conakry as a model in 1958-1984.

This is due to the fact that Guinea is the first region in Africa to gain independence from Western colonialism without bloodshed.

The book is pided into five chapters, preceded by an introduction to :- US policy towards the African continent in general after World War II, US attitude towards Guinea's independence, US attitude towards Guinea's political and economic relations with the Eastern Camp, US attitude towards Guinea's military and cultural relations with the Eastern Camp.

Finally, the author writes a conclusion containing the results of the study.
