In the United States of America (USA), seventeen American universities with a large number of black students received threats of bombs and were targeted by criminal elements over the past 48 hours, which prompted the FBI to open intensive investigations.

According to a report published by the American newspaper "The New York Times", more than 17 colleges and universities historically known to be African Americans received bomb threats for the second day in a row; multiple universities shared news of the threats and issued notices to students to stay in their places through their official account on Twitter.

Classes at the 17 universities have been suspended in anticipation of attacks, while the FBI said in a statement: "Investigators are aware of the series of bomb threats across the country, and we are working with our law enforcement partners to address any potential threats. As always, we would like to remind members of the public that if they notice anything suspicious, they should report it to law enforcement immediately."
