The Board of Trustees of the German International University (GIUAS) congratulated Egypt and the Egyptians on the occasion of the completion of the first phase of the headquarters of the International German University in the new administrative capital, which is the symbol of German friendship with Egypt.
An agreement was signed between the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Institution of German Universities, to establish the International German University (GIUAS) in the new administrative capital in the framework of a meeting between President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and German Chancellor Angela Merkel in October 2018 in the framework of scientific cooperation between the two countries.
The German higher education experience in Egypt is considered one of the most successful experiences of the state of Germany in the field of higher education in the world in terms of the accuracy of planning and speed of implementation on the ground in addition to the constant support of all officials in all ministries and sectors concerned to adhere to the ambitious schedule of officials in the two countries.
The Board of Trustees of GIUAS praised the distinguished location of the university's headquarters, and the Board of Trustees approved for the first time in Egypt.
The use of pure copper alloys that were specially manufactured in Germany to beautify the facades of the building as a symbol of the importance of scientific and cultural radiation on the land of civilizations Egypt, which has always been a cultural and scientific center of humanity throughout the ages.
