US Secretary of State Antony Blinken confirmed that the United States is engaged in intensive efforts with Egypt and Qatar to advance President Biden's proposal for a ceasefire in Gaza.
According to US media, Blinken emphasized the need for a clear and verifiable plan to manage Gaza's affairs the day after the war.
"The proposal presented by President Biden regarding Gaza is achievable, and Gaza cannot be left without governance. We have been working with our Arab allies over the past month to develop plans for Gaza's future,"Blinken said.
A high-level source stated that Egypt has intensified its contacts in recent hours with Israel and Palestinian factions to try to overcome the obstacles facing the ceasefire agreement, according to Al-Qahera News TV Channel.
