Democratic candidate, Joe Biden, pledged, on Friday, that Russia, China and Iran would pay the price of their interference in the US presidential election if he won the upcoming election scheduled on November 3.
During the second and final television debate between him and his Republican rival, Trump, 12 days before the elections, Biden said that these three countries "will pay the price if he is elected. They interfered in the American sovereignty."
The Democratic candidate also confirmed that he had never received "a single penny" from any foreign party.
His statement came in response to Trump's allegations of financial corruption.
Trump told Biden, "I think you owe an explanation to the American people." The Democratic candidate replied, "I've never received a single penny" from any foreign party.
During the debate, Biden accused Trump of pursuing a "criminal" policy against children of immigrants who were separated from their families upon their arrival at the US border.
A human rights organization and court documents revealed that the US authorities had failed to locate the families of 545 immigrant children who were separated from their families at the US border under the strict immigration policies that the Trump administration began implementing in May 2018.
Addressing Trump, Biden said, "These children are all alone, they have nowhere to go... This is criminal."
