Biden Says US Ready to Welcome 1000 Ukrainian Refugees

US President Joe Biden confirmed on Saturday that the US is ready to welcome 100,000 Ukrainian refugees.

"Helping Ukrainian refugees is not something Poland or any country should carry alone," Biden tweeted

"All the world’s democracies have a responsibility to help. And the people of Ukraine can count on the United States to meet its responsibility. We will welcome 100,000 Ukrainian refugees," he added.

On the other hand, US President Joe Biden said - earlier - that "the Kremlin" wants to portray the expansion of NATO as a colonial project aimed at destabilizing Russia, and this is not true," noting that NATO is a defensive alliance and has never sought to destroy Russia.
