Biden-Putin Summit will kick off today in Geneva. The long-waited meeting could last for five hours, Sputnik reported on Wednesday.
Regarding the schedule of the US-Russia summit, it will start with a meeting between both countries' leaders at 1: 35 pm by Geneva local time.
It will be followed by a two-round meeting with participation of the two states' delegations at 2:55 pm by Geneva local time, Sputnik cited the White House.
President Biden arrived in Geneva late Tuesday accompanied by a senior delegation of officials to participate in the highly anticipated meeting.
A few days ago, US Ambassador to Russia John Sullivan said the U.S. president is a strong defender for the American interests, so his meeting with the Russian side would touch upon several sensitive issues between both.
