US Ambassador to Russia John Sullivan said that he is looking forward to the upcoming summit between President Joe Biden, and President Vladimir Putin, the U.S. Embassy in Moscow stated on Wednesday.
Sullivan asserted that the U.S. president is a strong defender for the American interests, so his meeting with the Russian side would touch upon several sensitive issues between both.

He highlighted: "President Biden is a strong defender of the U.S. interests, and we’ll have a great team to support him as we meet with Russian leaders on the full range of pressing issues that affect the U.S.-Russia relationship."
The upcoming summit between Biden and Putin will be held in Geneva on June 16.
