US President Joe Biden announced that America will collaborate with Syrian factions to establish a transitional phase and work toward building an independent Syrian state with a constitution and government.

He stated, "We will strive to stabilize Syria and protect our citizens from any threats. We will also support Lebanon, Iraq, and Israel during Syria's transitional period."

President Biden emphasized that Russia, Iran, and Hezbollah failed to defend the Syrian regime, and the U.S. will work with its partners and stakeholders in Syria to help them seize this opportunity to manage risks.

He added, "The Syrian people now have a chance to build peace and stability. The situation in Syria remains fraught with risks and uncertainty, and America is unsure of Assad's whereabouts, with reports suggesting he may be in Moscow. We now have a significant opportunity to end the suffering of the Syrian people... Finally, the Assad regime has fallen."
