US President Joe Biden called, on Thursday, for a permanent sea in G20 for the African Union.
US officials also revealed that they are in contact with India to examine the inclusion of the African Union as India will host the upcoming summit of G20 in 2023.
In addition, Biden will pay a visit to sub-Saharan Africa to be the first step by a US President since 2015.
Biden said during the US-African Summit: "We're all going to be seeing you and you're going to see a lot of us." Although, he did not specify the exact date or destination of the trip.
"Some of you invited me to your countries. I said, be careful what you wish for, because I may show up."
The announcement comes after Biden's meeting with several African leaders and vowed to provide over $165 million to support Africa.
The White House expressed in a statement on Thursday that Biden met on Wednesday the leaders of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Liberia, Madagascar, Nigeria and Sierra Leone.
The US-Africa summit kicked off on Tuesday in Washington. The summit also witnessed the participation of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
