Bayern Munich have confirmed the signing of Senegal international Nicolas Jackson on loan from Chelsea until the end of the 2025/26 season.

The 24-year-old striker will wear the No. 11 shirt for the Bavarian giants.

Bayern’s sporting board member Max Eberl expressed his delight at the move:

"Nicolas was eager to join us from the very beginning. Despite his young age, he already has vast international experience and has proven his quality. With his dynamism and strong presence, he’s the perfect fit and will give our attack a real boost."

Sporting director Christoph Freund added, "Jackson will bring a new dimension to our frontline with his pace, sharpness in front of goal, and ability to break down defences. His open and positive personality will also help him adapt quickly."

For his part, Jackson was thrilled to sign for the German champions:

"I’m very happy to join this great club. Bayern Munich are one of the best teams in the world, with a history full of legends. I have big ambitions here and will give everything to help the team win more titles."

Jackson began his career at Casa Sports in Senegal before moving to Villarreal in 2019. After a loan spell at Mirandés, he made his La Liga debut in 2021, scoring 13 goals in 48 appearances for Villarreal’s first team.

In the summer of 2023, he joined Chelsea, where he scored 30 goals in 81 matches, helping the club lift the FIFA Club World Cup (2025) and the UEFA Conference League last season. On the international stage, he has already earned 19 senior caps for Senegal.
