FC Bayern Munich honored striker Harry Kane after he reached the remarkable milestone of 500 career goals.
The England captain hit the landmark during Bayern’s victory over SV Werder Bremen last week, with 100 of those goals coming from the penalty spot.
Kane added two more goals in Bayern’s 3-2 win against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday, taking his Bundesliga tally this season to 28 goals.
With 11 matches remaining in the league campaign, Kane is firmly on course to challenge the long-standing Bundesliga single-season scoring record of 41 goals, set by Robert Lewandowski.
Kane’s 500-goal milestone reflects a prolific career across club and international football. His goal breakdown includes: 280 goals with Tottenham Hotspur, 128 goals with Bayern Munich, and 78 goals with the England national team
He also netted nine goals during his time with Millwall and five with Leyton Orient earlier in his career.
Bayern’s tribute underscores Kane’s extraordinary consistency and impact, as he continues to lead the German champions’ charge domestically and in Europe while rewriting scoring records along the way.
