President Abdel Fattah El Sisi will inaugurate today, Monday, a water station in Bahr Al-Baqar so as to pump about 5.6 million meters of treated water per day to Sinai.
It's expected that Bahr Al-Baqar Water Station will contribute to increasing the agriculture up to 500,000 feddans, which makes it the largest of its kind in Africa.

The Bahr Al-Baqar plant, located in south of Port Said, and in the eastern province of Sharqia, contributes to the reclamation of nearly 400,000 acres, the development of North Sinai, the purification of Lake Manzala, the development of fisheries, the provision of job opportunities and the preservation of the environment and health, water provision, export development, and food security.
