On Thursday, Al Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb has greeted President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and the Egyptian people on the occasion of the 9th anniversary of the June 30 revolution.
In a cable, Al Azhhar Imam called on all Egyptians on the the necessity of solidarity and support behind their wise leadership, the country's valiant armed forces, and its national institutions.
He further pressed for sparing no effort to advance the homeland.
Minister of Defense and Military Production Mohamad Zaki and Army Chief of Staff Osama Askar sent a cable to the president on the same occasion.
Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli also greeted President Abdel Fattah, the government members and the Egyptian people on the ninth anniversary of the June 30 Revolution, which, he said, will remain a milestone in Egypt's history.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi said in a speech he gave on the occasion of the ninth anniversary of the revolution that he is fully confident that Egypt will overcome the impact of the current international crises.
In his speech, Sisi stressed he is fully confident that Egypt will “continue its uninterrupted path toward building a developed state, and a stable and vibrant society,” noting that these are the big hopes of the Egyptian people.
