Azerbaijani Forces Enter Kalbajar

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense announced that its forces began entering the Kalbijar region in the Kalbajar District under the deal signed earlier this month by Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia, according to media sources.

Earlier, a Turkish source said that a dispute arose between his country and Russia over Ankara's desire to establish an independent military observation site in Azerbaijan after the two countries agreed this month to monitor the ceasefire in Nagorno Karabakh.

Turkey and Russia have already agreed to establish a joint center in the region to monitor a ceasefire that was reached on the tenth of this month. This agreement has stopped the battles that took place for weeks between Azerbaijani forces and Armenian forces in that enclave.
