The Austrian Embassy in Ukraine reported that Vienna has sent a total of 292 tons of humanitarian aid to Ukraine over the past two years.
In a statement shared on the X platform and cited by the Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform, the embassy highlighted, "Given that Ukraine has been the primary target country for Vienna's humanitarian aid in the last two years, 48 trucks have delivered 292 tons of relief supplies from Vienna to Ukraine."
The aid included medical equipment, school furniture, electric generators, firefighting equipment, and children's clothing.
Wolfgang Sobotka, President of the Austrian National Council, reaffirmed Austria's full support for the Ukrainian people in their efforts to defend themselves in the ongoing conflict with Russia.
