Officials said 6 people, including 2 children were killed, and 4 others were injured as a result of a massive tornado in Iowa Saturday night.
The apparent tornado in Madison County, Iowa, USA was not confirmed by the National Weather Service, but federal meteorologists said images of the damage indicated it was EF3 tornado.

Diogenes Ayala, the director of the Madison County Emergency Management Agency said at a news conference that search and rescue efforts were temporarily halted. The volunteers were asked to come in the morning to help determine if there were more dead or injured.

"This is, I think, the worst that anyone has seen in quite a long time," Ayala said. "This will be impactful for many years to come."
The Tornado destroyed buildings and cut off power for more than 10.5 thousand people.
