Argentina freezes its decision to move its embassy to Jerusalem after a strong rejection from the right parties, local media outlets said on Saturday.
Last month, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemned the declaration of Argentina to move its embassy to Jerusalem.
Palestine also called on the Argentinian President to cancel the declaration, asserting Palestine's rejection of any attempts to ignore the legal situation of Jerusalem.
Argentina’s new President Javier Milei announced that he has plans to move his country’s embassy to Jerusalem.
His statements came during a visit to Israel which is his first overseas trip since taking the office in December.
