Argentia Thrash Costa Rica 3-1 Friendly with Messi's Absence

Early Wednesday, 2022 FIFA World Cup, and 2021 Copa America Cup champions Argentina thrashed Costa Rica 3-1 friendly in Los Angeles, California. 

Manfred Ugalde put Costa Rica in front in the 34th minute, before Argentina's icon Angel Di Maria scored the equalizer for the Tango Dancers in the 52nd.

After that Alexis Mac Allister scored the second for Argentina in the 56th minute, followed by the third for the Tango Dancers in the 77th minute by Lautaro Martinez.

Argentina had today's game without Messi who is suffering from an injury.

The Tango Dancers had nine games without Messi, since the appointment of Scaloni, and they didn't lose any of them.

Lionel Messi was ruled out from the lineup of Argentina's friendlies against El Salvador, and Costa Rica after having a right hamstring injury.
