Arab Parliament's Speaker Congratulates Jordan’s King on 76th Independence Day

On Wednesday, the Speaker of the Arab Parliament (AP) Adel Bin AbdulRahman Al Asoomi, congratulated His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of Jordan’s Independence Day.

In a congratulatory message, the Speaker stressed that it is a precious anniversary that embodies the highest meanings of sacrifice and loyalty for the homeland and reflects the Jordanian people’s strength, will, and steadfastness in the face of challenges.

Al Asoomi also paid tribute to the purely Arab positions of HMK Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, King of the HKJ in defending the issues of the Arab region and safeguarding Arab national security, believing in the unity of purpose, destiny and common interest of the Arab peoples, and at the same time, praised the efforts of HMK Abdullah II, Custodian of Islamic and Christian sanctities in Jerusalem, in preserving and protecting the holy places. And emphasized that Jordanian diplomacy is a role model in assuming Arab national responsibility and defending just Arab issues.

The AP Speaker expressed his congratulations and best wishes to the Jordanian people for further progress and prosperity.

Jordan’s King Abdullah II said on Wednesday that the Jordanian government will work on a program to develop the public sector during his Independence Day speech.
