Speaker of the Arab Parliament Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Yamahi affirmed the parliament's support for the Arab and Egyptian stance to rebuild the Gaza Strip, and its categorical rejection of the displacement of the Palestinian people from their land in Gaza and the West Bank, stressing the importance of implementing a comprehensive reconstruction process in the Gaza Strip as soon as possible, in a way that ensures the Palestinians remain on their land, especially in light of the steadfastness and complete adherence to their land shown by the Palestinian people.
Al-Yamahi stressed the need to implement the ceasefire agreement in Gaza in all its stages and provisions, and to sustain the ceasefire, in a way that ensures the access of humanitarian support to all parts of the Gaza Strip and the removal of all obstacles to the entry of aid, expressing his complete rejection of any attempts to divide the Gaza Strip, and the need for the occupation forces to withdraw completely, and to work to enable the Palestinian Authority to assume its duties in the Gaza Strip as part of the occupied Palestinian territory, along with the West Bank and Jerusalem.
The Speaker of the Arab Parliament called on the international community, the peoples of the free world, and regional and international parliaments to support our oppressed brothers in Palestine, support joint Arab efforts on the Palestinian issue, affirm the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, and reject any attempts to displace them or seize their land by force.
