The American Associated Press (AP) said many Democrats feel that one presidential term is sufficient for President Biden, reflecting a rejection of the possibilities of his candidacy in the 2024 race.

New Hampshire Democrats are angry at the Democratic president for trying to end the state's status as the seat of the nation's first primary, the agency said.

But their concerns about Biden run deeper than that and are in line with the opinion of a majority of Democratic voters around the country, who are sceptical of the 80-year-old president's plans to launch his re-election campaign soon.

Only 37% of Democrats across the United States want Biden to seek a second term, according to a poll conducted by The Associated Press last month, and that was down from 52% before last year's midterm elections.

Many worry about Biden's age, while others are angry about his administration's chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Also, the progressive wing of the party has never been enthusiastic about Biden, who they perceive as a moderate, despite his long list of accomplishments.
