Antoushka Supports Women through "Sekhmet" Summer Collection (Video)

Creative Director and Antoushka Founder Engy Nabil organized an event in cooperation with Baheya Hospital to empower and help women, donating 10% of revenues to the foundation.

Nabil confirmed that she derived the name of her summer collection from the ancient Egyptian "Sekhmet", who is a warrior goddess as well as goddess of healing god of war and strength, in reference to the strength of women in addition to their great role in the process of awareness of the deadly virus "COVID-19".

Under the umbrella of success, Egyptian stars of art, sports, cancer challengers and others spoke about their  stories of struggle, pain and truimph.

The event honored the star Horeya Farghaly and awarded her the title of Strong Woman 2021 because of the difficulties she went through, after her horse accident and several surgery failures.

Farghaly indicated that she drew her strength from the great support she found from her fans, especially after she announced her crisis and revealed the facts.. She pointed out that women are not a weak being but, rather become more solid as the difficulties of life intensify.

Star Safaa Galal was also one of the honored stars, who confirmed that the Egyptian woman was born to be strong, as they bears all forms of responsibility towards family, and work at the same time.

The event also honored star Ilham AbdelBadi, who confirmed that she drew her strength from the dream that others did not believe until after she proved it with her success in the acting career, which was doubt by others, including family.

Sports TV Presenter Farah Ali indicated that her strength always appears in difficult situations, especially as she entered a field dominated by men "football commentators".

The celebration also honored the young star Amy Talaat Zakaria, the singer Rotana Selim,  blogger Ward Shah, in addition to the champion of trampoline gymnastics team, Malak Hamza, who qualified for the Tokyo Olympics 2021.

Malak confirmed that she drew her strength from the word impossible "Minfa'sh"  imposed on her by society, starting from the gym in which she lifted weights that no girl of her age could bear until she penetrated the field of work during her studies to draw her character and depend on herself, until she became of of Egypt's proud gymnasts.

Dr. Maha Nour, who was famous for her suffering with breast cancer and recovering from it, said that she drew her strength from her husband, adding that she extends a helping hand to every woman who was diagnosed with cancer.

The event was presented by Sherry Saleh, who made an overview of all the honorees and their achievement of their goals in life, to tell in turn about this suffering and from what each of them drew their strength.
