"Andromeda Galaxy" will be the first film screening at the 42nd Cairo International Film Festival Critics Week competition. It will be screened at 6.30 pm at the Cairo Opera House small hall.

Andromeda

Directed by More Raca, it revolves around a 52-year-old homeless and jobless man who can't find any job in his corrupted homeland.

His life gets more complicated after his daughter is sent to live with him. He strives hard with society in order to find a way.

Suddenly, a casual meeting drives him to change his life, and to sell his kidney. The film sheds light on the man's position in his own society.
