Renowned Egyptian poet and songwriter, Amir Teima announced Saturday on Twitter that he tested positive for the coronavirus.
'Positive for coronavirus, thank God I had not met with anyone in the last week, unfortunately, no one will be infected by me other than my household; take care of yourselves.' he tweeted.
As of March 20, the novel coronavirus infected over 121,969 million people and killed 2,694 others worldwide since it emerged in China in 2019, according to WHO.
