A few cooking hacks and tips can make cooking easy and simple. So, here are some professional tips presented by the famous food blogger Ameera Aboulseoud for delicious bechemal pasta.
Aboulseoud told "SEENews" that the secret for a successful bechemal pasta lies in ensuring that the sauce is smooth and light without any clumps. To achieve a smooth sauce make sure to blend the ingredients in the mixer before putting it on the heat. Stir continuously till it reaches a boil.
*Sauce Ingredients
4 cups of milk.
1/2 a cup of flour.
3 tablespoons of butter.
Salt.
Black pepper.
Nutmeg.
2 egg yolks. After the sauce reaches a boil, turn the heat off before adding 1/2 a cup (or less) of shredded parmesan cheese. Using a hand mixer, stir till smooth.
*Secret for perfect minced meat filling
Aboulseoud likes to add a teaspoon of baking soda to her minced meat filling because the baking soda raises the meat's pH which helps lock in the moisture and accelerates its cooking.
*Pasta
Make sure to cook the pasta for one minute less than the box's instructions say.
Make sure to preheat the oven at 180 degrees C for a few minutes before placing your pasta in for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
