The Ambassador of India, accompanied by Dr. Akram Hassan Mohamed, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education , deputing Dr. Reda Hegazy; The Minister of Education inaugurated the “Glimpses from India” exhibition for the drawings of art education teachers. It was organized by the Embassy of India in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, with the support of the Egyptian Opera House.
A large number of teachers of education and art at the level of the Republic participated in the exhibition. Where the Ambassador of India delivered a briefed speech at the end of the celebration, in which he expressed his happiness at what he seen of the distinguished level of the works displayed in the exhibition, which included more than 100 paintings and mixed in it about the Egyptian and Indian civilizations, through which art education teachers expressed the manifestations of life and friendship that linked the peoples of the two countries. Amb. Gupte, referred to that this exhibition comes within the framework of the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between India and Egypt, as well as the 75th anniversary of India's independence.
The event also aims to develop stronger cultural ties and people-to-people contacts between the two friendly countries, India and Egypt. On his part, Dr. Akram Hosni, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, expressed his thanks for the cooperation between the Embassy of India and his Ministry for the continuous cooperation and organization of the Glimpses of India competition among school students across the Republic over a period of 26 years. Education in the development and capacity building of teachers
