Quick & easy bread recipe with whole wheat flour..i also add white flour for Easley stretching the dough.
This recipe is healthy & it's rich with multi grains.
It's soo delicious, You can eat it alone with out any filling..
You don't need any special equipment for this recipe, you can use a stand mixer or you can simply use mixing bowl & a wooden spoon & then kneed the dough with your hands.
Ingredients:
1 cup of whole milk warm
1 cup of warm water
1 tablespoon of dry yeast
1 tea spoon of sugar
1/2 cup of honey
2 cups of bread white flour
4 cups of whole wheat flour
1 tablespoon of salt
6 tablespoon of butter in room temperature.
1 tablespoon of olive oil
For grains i used:
2 tablespoons of flaxseed
2 tablespoons of sesame seeds
1 tablespoon of black sesame seeds
Directions:
In a stand mixer add warm milk & water, yeast & sugar ..mix all together& Leave it a side for 10 minutes to rise.
Add butter, honey, Olive oil & mix them one more time before adding your flour mix..
Gradually add flour, salt & let the mixer do it's work .. kneed the dough for about 10 to 13 minutes on high speed.
Finally add grains, mix & let the dough to broof for about 1 hour.
After 1 hour the dough should be doubled in size.
You can easily shape your dough the way you like..
I made one big loaf of bread & shaped the rest of it into a medium size buns..
Let the dough to rest & rise one more time before baking for about 45 minutes..
Preheat your oven to 220c (425f) 15 minutes before baking.
Brush your dough with egg wash & add more seeds on top..
Bake your dough for about 25 to 30 minutes or until it takes a beautiful golden brown color.
Let your bread to cool down in room temperature on awire rack, serve it & enjoy
