Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune headed today, Saturday, to New York , United States of America, to participate in the work of the seventy-eighth regular session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Algerian presidency said in a statement.
The seventy-eighth session of the United Nations General Assembly will be held in New York, from September 19 to 25.
This session is held under the title “Rebuilding Confidence and Reviving Global Solidarity” with the aim of enhancing joint work towards achieving the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals, in a way that achieves peace, prosperity and development in light of the interconnected global challenges that would affect the pace of achieving those goals.
