Alexandria University revealed details about e-studying, online exams to cope with international health precautions amid the outbreak of coronavirus.
The plan "e-studying" includes conducting e-tests for students at home, including the examination guidelines.
This came in line with the directives of Issam El-Kordi, President of Alexandria University, and under the guidance of Vice President Hisham Gaber, to implement the highest standards of transparency for university students.
The university’s Measurement and Evaluation Center will be tasked with preparing an alternative plan, in collaboration with the Information Technology Center, for student's home exams as an alternative to school-based written tests, in anticipation of any decisions that may lead to the modification of the study plan for this semester.
It is noteworthy that President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi issued a decision earlier to suspend studies in universities and schools for two weeks, starting Mar. 15, within the framework of the comprehensive state plan to deal with any possible repercussions of the virus, including the allocation of 100 billion pounds to fight COVID-19.
