7th Alexandria Short Film Festival to kick off on Monday

The 7th Alexandria Short Film Festival activities will kick off on Monday, and it will last until April 10.

This edition will see the participation of 36 films from 18 countries, most of them are middle eastern and north African ones.

Several competitions are taking place on the sidelines of the event including the Official competition, Animated Features competition, the Documentary Film competition, and the projects of Students.

16 films are participating in the official competition including the Egyptian "Tuk-Tuk."

Regarding the Animated Feature competition, nine films are taking part in it including one Egyptian feature.

Eight films will compete together for the prizes of the Documentary Feature one, in addition, eight films are participating in the competition dedicated to cinema students' projects.
