On Sunday, German tennis star Alexander Zverev won the Internazionali BNL d'Italia (Rome Tennis Open) to elevate himself as one of the top contenders for the French Open.
The German carried his first title of this tournament in Rome back in 2017 before repeating this achievement after defeating Nicolas Jarry.
The Chilean advanced to the final after defeating Stefanos Tsitsipas and Tommy Paul.
It is a sixth title at Masters 1000 point for the German, who will take Daniil Medvedev's spot as world No 4 on Monday.
Zverev said after winning the title "It means a lot," said Zverev. It is his first trophy since he broke his ankle in the French Open semi-finals in 2022.
"Obviously winning my first (Masters) title in Rome and winning my first after the injury, Rome is a very special place for me. A very, very special week."
