Egypt’s Tourism Minister Rania al-Mashat left for China earlier Wednesday to partake in Bloomberg New Economy Forum set for November 20-22.
Al-Mashat is scheduled to give a word before the forum.
The forum is an annual platform that brings together a galaxy of public and private sectors' leaders.
Around 500 of the world's most influential business executives, technology innovators, government officials, experts and academics from more than 60 countries will take part in the event.
The forum agenda
The forum includes a series of important seminars to develop solutions for the problems facing the global economy nowadays, especially in light of the global changes in the economic forces and conflicts related to the future of trade, investment, technology, finance, capital markets, urbanization, and inclusion.
Al-Mashat's intensive schedule in China
The minister will hold a number of key bilateral meetings, on the fringe of the forum activities.
Moreover, Al-Mashat will participate in meetings hosted by the Egyptian Ambassador to China Mohamed El-Badri at the Embassy in Beijing.
These meetings will be attended by influential Chinese business leaders, tour operators, and major tourism companies. In addition, she will give interviews to a number of popular Chinese TV channels.
Noteworthy, the New Economy Forum was established in 2018 by Michael Bloomberg.
