Al Hilal continued their dominance in Saudi football after defeating Al Kholood 2 1 in the 2026 King Cup final on Friday.
Al Kholood made a dream start to the match, taking the lead in the fourth minute through Ramiro Enrique.
However, Al Hilal responded strongly before halftime and completed a quick turnaround within five minutes.
Nasser Al Dawsari scored the equalizer in the 42nd minute before French defender Theo Hernandez netted the winning goal in first-half stoppage time.
Al Hilal held onto their advantage in the second half to secure another major domestic trophy and further strengthen their record in the competition.
The victory marks Al Hilal’s 10th Saudi King Cup title, extending their lead as the most successful club in the history of the tournament.
They now sit two trophies ahead of Al Ahli Saudi FC, who have won the competition eight times, while Al Ittihad remain on six titles.
