On Monday Al-Arish International Airport in Egypt received a shipment of humanitarian aid from the United Arab Emirates, aimed at supporting the Gaza Strip. The UAE's contribution includes 30.4 tons of essential food and medical supplies, along with 12 barrels of fuel, demonstrating a strong commitment to aiding the people of Gaza during their time of need.

Since October 12th, Al-Arish Airport has played a pivotal role in facilitating international humanitarian efforts, having welcomed a total of 550 flights laden with aid from around the world. Of these, 448 flights carried diverse aid and relief materials directly to Gaza, contributed by 50 countries and various regional and international organizations.

The remaining 102 flights brought official and solidarity delegations to the region, visiting key points such as the Rafah Port and aid storage facilities in Al-Arish, as well as hospitals in North Sinai where Palestinian wounded are being cared for.

This influx of international aid through Al-Arish International Airport highlights the global community's ongoing support for Gaza.

The efforts by the UAE and other contributing nations and organizations underscore a collective endeavor to alleviate the hardships faced by Gaza's inhabitants and improve their conditions amidst challenging circumstances.
