Al Ahly to Host Mazembe in CAF Champions League Semi-Final Tonight

Tonight, Al Ahly will face Congo's Mazembe in the second leg of the CAF Champions League semi-final at Cairo International Stadium.

Al Ahly are looking for to defeat the Congolese team to secure a spot in the final of the most prestigious African club competition, especially after the first leg was settled with a goalless draw. 

The Red Devils are hoping to qualify for the fifth successive CAF Champions League final, and the 17th in their history.

If Al Ahly win and book the seat in the final, they will achieve a historical record that is held only by the La Liga giants Real Madrid. The Royal club is the only one which reached 5 consecutive final matches.

Until now, Al Ahly succeeded in reaching four finals of the past four editions, winning 3 of them.
