Al Ahly club denied signing with former Al Zamalek star and current midfielder for Midtjylland Emam Ashour for four seasons and a half as part of summer transfers.
The director of the planning committee of Al Ahly's football team, Mohsen Saleh, said that all news about signing with Ashour is false, and the club doesn't need further signings with midfielders.
In addition, the Spokesperson of the Danish club refuted any news regarding the signing of Ashour with any club, asserting that Ashour's contract with the Danish club expires in 2027.
Last February, the Danish club announced the signing of the Zamalek's star for a reported fee of €2.76 million on Tuesday.
The Danish contract made Ashour Zamalek’s third-most expensive sale after Mostafa Mohamed’s and Mahmoud Kharaba.
After his signing, Mohamed Zidan sent a motivating message to Ashour, wishing him a glorious career with the Danish giants.
