Egypts's Al-Ahly are few steps away from setting new records in case they qualify for the final of the CAF Champions League.

Al Ahly seem so close to advancing to the final, especially after capturing a precious goalless 0-0 draw with the Congolese Mazembe in the away game.

The Red Devils will host the Congolese next Friday at Cairo International Stadium in the second leg of the CAF Champions League semi-final. Al Ahly hope to continue their successful CAF Champions League campaign by defeating Mazembe in front of 50,000 people in the arena.

If Al Ahly win and book the seat in the final, they will achieve a historical record that is held only by the La Liga giants Real Madrid. The Royal club is the only one which reached 5 consecutive final matches.

Until now, Al Ahly succeeded in reaching four finals of the past four editions, winning 3 of them.
