Parliament Deputy Speaker Mohamed Abou El-Enein praised the draft law "Egyptian Portal for Umrah," stressing that this project protects citizens from middlemen and brokers, suggesting that every Egyptian pilgrim should have a barcode.
The parliament deputy speaker confirmed that the bill submitted by the government to establish the Egyptian portal for Umrah works to regulate the Umrah market.
Addressing the parliament plenary session, Abou El-Enein praised the Ministry of Tourism’s moves to stimulate tourism and protect citizens from middlemen and brokers.
He pointed out that the project preserves the rights of the pilgrim and secures expenditure.
