Abou El-Enein Extends Easter Greetings to Egypt's Coptic Community

Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Mohamed Abou El-Enein, conveyed his warmest Easter greetings to the Coptic community in Egypt. This came in a heartfelt address broadcasted on "Sabah El-Balad"talk show, aired on Sada El-Balad TV channel.

The message highlighted the spirit of love and respect that characterizes the national holiday.

"Filled with feelings of love and respect, it gives me great pleasure to extend my heartfelt congratulations to His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark, and to our Coptic brothers and sisters on the occasion of the glorious Easter," Abou El-Enein remarked. He expressed his wishes for the holiday to bring good health, happiness, and prosperity to all Egyptians.

Abou El-Enein further elaborated on the significance of the holiday as a reflection of the enduring spirit of love, good relations, and tolerance among all Egyptians. "On this blessed land, we celebrate together as a unique fabric woven through history," he stated, emphasizing the unity and collective spirit of the nation.

He continued, "This spirit, found only in Egypt, is one of God Almighty's blessings, making this great nation a shield for its homeland. Egypt will forever be a place that unites us, where our souls and hearts harmonize in peace and tolerance, under the echoing sounds of prayers, hymns, and church bells, playing a symphony of forgiveness and love."

In conclusion, Abou El-Enein prayed for the preservation of love and peace that binds the hearts and souls of the Egyptian people. "May God protect Egypt, its people, and its leader... and wishing everyone a blessed year ahead," he said.

The Deputy Speaker’s message underscores the inclusive and unified atmosphere in Egypt, reflecting a community celebrating together across different faiths, further strengthening the country's rich cultural tapestry.
