Parliament Deputy Speaker Mohamed Abou El-Enein said that the issue of citizenship in Egypt has a clear charter and constitution. He added that what President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said about citizenship and human rights at the United Nations is applied literally in Egypt.
During his participation in the activities of the 32nd International Conference of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA) under the title: “The Citizenship Contract and its Impact on Achieving Social & Global Peace,” Abou El-Enein confirmed that the strategy for human rights in Egypt is fully implemented.
The conference is being held in Cairo from February 12-13, under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
Abou El-Enein pointed out that the people of evil are constantly trying to play on the chord of citizenship. He noted that they are still trying to broadcast things that are subjective and unreal to provoke an atmosphere of instability.
"All these attempts are nipped in the cradle, because the Egyptian people have become more aware than ever before. Evil people's attempts to ignite sedition will not succeed," Abou El-Enein said.
MP Abou El-Enein explained that the issue of citizenship is primarily an issue of affiliation, and it is an issue of culture and knowledge.
He stated: "When we talk about human rights in Egypt, we must mention the "Haya Karima" program and the woman programs, which the state is keen to include all segments of society so that security and stability prevail in Egypt.
The conference is participated by a number of ministers of Islamic affairs and endowments, leaders of religious institutions in 41 countries from around the world. It is attended by more than 50 ministers and muftis from countries around the world, and a number of elites influential in their societies including scholars, writers, thinkers, and some opinion and thought leaders and polititions.
One of the main sessions during the conference, under the title "Citizenship and World Peace", is scheduled to be moderated by Abou El-Enein.
The conference aims to contribute to the consolidation of the concept of citizenship and its impact on achieving global societal peace.
