CAIRO, Mar. 22(SEE)- Archaeological Author Hussein Abdel-Basir, director of the Antiquities Museum at Bibliotheca Alexandrina will sign the novel “Love in Tokyo” next Monday. It was published by the Russian Centre for Science and Culture at the Foundation’s pavilion, in the presence of Mostafa El-Feki, Library Director, former Minister of Culture Farouk Hosny and Mohamed Soliman, Head of Cultural Outreach Sector.
The novel includes 14 short stories, including Love in Tokyo, Snow of Kanazawa, Confessions of an Old Lover, Valentine's Day in Baltimore, and Baltimore's Inner Harbor, as well as Tea with Uncle Aslan, and Jingle.
It also includes Drowsy in Delusion, Descent into the River, Menes: Unifier of The Two Lands, King Djoser & Imhotep the Genius, and Tutu.
"This novel is a collection of my writings about Japan, where I lived in for quite a short time," Abdel Basir said, adding that it also revolves around ancient and contemporary Egyptian characters, which he expressed with great passion.
