Abaya and kaftan are trendy in the holy month of Ramadan, which is set to begin in a few days.
The designs are also a top apparel destination for young girls that opt to copy their mothers.
Therefore, designer Engy Kassab was keen to present mother and daughter designs suitable for Ramadan.
She chose the Moroccan kaftan and abaya as an alternative to esdal (prayer dress).

* kaftan is an alternative to the Esdal
The kaftan is characterized by a large hood that is suitable for covering the head when praying.
The design was presented in attractive cordon colors. The designer relied on the golden color.
“The Moroccan abaya is easy, practical, and can be used as an alternative to esdal in Ramadan, which is why I presented it in all sizes for children, teens, and moms,” Kassab noted.
* Kaftan for outdoors activities
This year, Ramadan comes in light of the easing of the Coronavirus lockdown, which prevented people from taking part in the Tarawih prayers, as well as visiting their beloved ones and friends as well as breaking their feast together, whether in households or public places.
* Vivid colors
In the collection, Kassab chose pastel colors and the white color, which is a trendy color this fall.
She also used patterns in her designs including white with black and eastern prints, which the latter was featured in popular symbols such as the palm and the eye and came with cheerful and lively colors that added beauty to the wearer's appearance in the holy month.
