In its strongest and most urgent statement yet, the Supreme Council of Clans in the Gaza Strip has issued an immediate cry for help to the "conscience of the nation and the world." The council warned that international silence is direct participation in a full-fledged crime of genocide.

The statement, released today, Saturday, emphasized that the Israeli occupation's threats to occupy Gaza City and turn it into a replica of Rafah and Beit Hanoun—which the military machine has destroyed with hundreds of tons of explosives—are no longer just words. They have become a bitter reality of killing, starvation, and ethnic cleansing in Gaza City.

The council pointed out that the "brutal destruction and demolition of entire residential blocks in the Zaytoun and Al-Sabra neighborhoods of Gaza City are not a military operation, but systematic steps to "annihilate our existence on our land."

Act Now... Before It's Too Late

The council directed crucial appeals to several parties, demanding they stop their complicity and provide immediate support:

To the World's Leaders: "History has tested your consciences repeatedly, and today it puts you to a new test." The council affirmed that supporting the Zionist entity is direct partnership in the crime. It called for immediate sanctions, a halt to all forms of military and financial aid, and action through international institutions to stop the genocide.

To the Arab and Islamic Nations: "Gaza is your first cause and your last line of defense." The council demanded decisive and effective stances that go beyond statements of condemnation and denunciation, and to work to break the siege.

To the Peoples of the Free World: "You are the living conscience of humanity." The statement urged them to continue their activism and demonstrations, asserting that "your voice is power, so do not stop screaming for justice."

The council concluded its statement by affirming that history will not be merciful to the silent, and that international silence in the face of these massacres is "a complicity that will be written in the annals of history with letters of shame and disgrace."
