The seventh edition of the China–Arab States Expo concluded on Sunday in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in northwest China, showcasing the expanding economic ties between China and the Arab world.
Spanning 36,000 square meters, the four-day event brought together 1,082 organizations and companies from 53 countries and regions, drawing an impressive 218,700 visitors.
Business activity at the expo was strong. Deals signed on-site amounted to 82.39 million yuan (around 11.55 million US dollars), while potential deals discussed reached 624 million yuan.
Beyond trade, the expo featured over 40 investment promotion events, including economic forums, business matchmaking sessions, and industrial cooperation activities. These efforts resulted in the signing of 331 cooperation agreements, with a total value of 107.75 billion yuan. Among these, 28 projects each exceeded 1 billion yuan in value, reflecting the scale of collaboration being pursued.
